How much ACT score is required for scholarship?
ACT score is ranged from 1 to 36, the better you do on the test, the higher your score will be. However, there is a clear discrepancy between the “good” ACT score and the rest.
To further understand the question above, we must fully grasp the meaning behind our ACT score. Similar to SAT score, your ACT score is equivalent to a percentile that compares how you did to the general population of ACT test-takers. A higher percentile score means you scored higher than that percent of students.
The average ACT score is 20,6 so if you manage to get a 21, that means you scored higher than 50% of total participants. Here’s an abbreviated chart with ACT score percentiles for students from the classes of 2018, 2019, and 2020.
